Anxiety cures for presenting ?
I have really bad anxiety, and realize that many people do but i would just like a way to control mine as it is really severe.
As if i didn’t have enough too worry about, tomorrow i have to present a ten minute speech to my class. I always get so nervous and am hoping anyone might have suggestiong to not look as though i am nervous and make myself feel less afraid??
PLEASE HELP!
seriously.
Make sure you really know your material. I find that when I’m confident about my work my speaking abilities is more confident. Try and relax and take a few deep breaths. Everyone else that speaks is just as nervous as you, so don’t feel alone. Try and enjoy the speech or plan to say something funny. It’ll give you something to look forward too.
Good luck

If you anxiety is severe, you should be seeing a qualified doctor or psychologist. He/she can prescribe medicine if it is suitable for you.
If you are nervous, take deep breaths, and imagine everyone in their underwear. It helps for some. In othercases, telling a relevant joke may also help (before you start). Speak with confidence and use dramatic hand actions (occasionally, dont overdo it) to boost your own confidence.
It would help if you held up a script, but keep your hands close to you or rested on an item, you seriously do not want your hands shaking like mad when you are presenting.
Lastly, if you are using the computer for visual effects, overdeliver on the presentation on the computer which will divert some attention to the screen, leaving you free to talk calmly.
